VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Our commitment to reconciliation is rooted in a respectful understanding of our shared history, acknowledging the achievements and challenges that have shaped Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, as well as the wider communities of Australia.

Our goal is to foster an environment of learning that encompasses all children, families, and the broader community. This journey is guided by core values such as reconciliation, respect, collaboration, and harmony, encouraging us to embrace the cultural diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities and promote meaningful connections.

We prioritise understanding and fostering respectful relationships that are inclusive and aimed at facilitating change, equity, and acknowledgment of diverse backgrounds. To enhance our professional development, we seek out meaningful opportunities to learn from community leaders.

As educators, taking time for critical reflection enables us to learn and unlearn, thereby strengthening our work in reconciliation. Involving children in enriching learning experiences is an essential part of our mission, as we believe that they should be active participants in their education.

We aim to cultivate a community where everyone can thrive together and receive the support they need.
