We believe in respecting and celebrating each family's culture and their traditions in a meaningful way, as well as respecting the importance of learning about and connecting to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures for all children.
We continue to support educators and teachers to be able to confidently include Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ histories and cultures into our teaching. We acknowledge the importance of developing inclusive and innovative quality curriculums and are actively working with the Big Fat Smile Reconciliation Coordinator towards respectfully embedding more First Nations peoples’ perspectives into our day to day operation, as we continue on our reconciliation journey with the development of our second Reconciliation Action Plan.
We strive for the entire service community, the children, their families, educators and the local community to accompany us on our reconciliation journey.
