Here at Kids Club we are committed to reconciliation and our vision is to build and maintain strong, respectful relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the wider community. We envisage an inclusive, equal, equitable, and culturally respectful community and believe that early childhood education is the future pathway to a reconciled country. As an early childhood centre, we strive for both Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and non-Indigenous children to be able to access and participate in quality, culturally responsive early childhood education. We will work closely with educators, children, and families to actively value and respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures, histories, and experiences, respectfully embedding this value and respect into our daily programs and practices. We recognise First Nations peoples’ histories, cultures and experiences as important to our national story and identities.
