At Great Beginnings Parmelia, our vision is to deepen our understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, histories, cultures and perspectives as we start our reconciliation journey. Â
Our staff have a commitment to learn about and understand reconciliation to ensure we create culturally safe educational learning environments and respectfully embed this into our daily practices in a respectful manner. This will provide all children to be confident and involved learners with a long-lasting understanding into their older years. We strive to work alongside the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and the families and wider community of our service that stands on Whadjuk Land of the Nyoongar People.Â
