Our Vision for Fun Club @ Bulli is to ensure our place-based pedagogy forms a strong foundation to support an ongoing connection with Country and Community, as well as to ensure a strong and lasting knowledge of, and respect for, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ histories and cultures amongst our educators, children, families, school and the wider community. Being located within a primary school, our sphere of influence has the potential to reach beyond our own service and we strive to bring our partners along with us on a journey towards a reconciled Australia, as we deepen our own practice. The educators will continue to ensure our children, as our future community leaders, develop knowledge, understanding and respect for the perspectives of the Wodi Wodi people and Dharawal history and culture. We will also ensure the children develop an understanding of the impact of racism and the importance of celebrating diversity and upholding fairness and equity. Through the continuity of our RAP journey, we strive to be part of a brighter future for the First Peoples of Australia and the wider community. We pledge to continue to strengthen and expand our service's strong connections and relationships with First Nations peoples and deepen understanding of local Wodi Wodi histories and cultures.
