Creative Garden Early Learning Centre-Coombabah

At Creative Garden Coombabah, we envision a learning environment where every child feels a deep respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures. We will implement programs that integrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ stories, art, and traditions, providing opportunities for children to learn from First Nations peoples. 

Through workshops and storytelling sessions, children will learn about the significance of the Land, the importance of cultural practices, and the diverse histories of First Nations peoples. We will create a space where children can ask questions, explore their identities, and develop a sense of belonging that acknowledges the past while looking towards a united future. 

Our commitment to reconciliation will also be reflected in our partnerships with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and organisations, ensuring that our curriculum is inclusive and representative. By fostering these connections, we aim to build a community where respect, understanding, and collaboration thrive, paving the way for a brighter future for all.
