Vincentia Peak Sports and Learning, we envision a reconciled Australia where unity is embraced between First Nations peoples and all Australians. Through our before school care, after school care, and vacation care programs, we are committed to fostering reconciliation by respectfully embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives throughout our service.
We do this through visible cultural representation, daily Acknowledgement of Country, and by building strong, respectful relationships with local Elders and First Nations organisations. We encourage a deep appreciation for the Land and Country and include meaningful activities and discussions that promote understanding and reconciliation.
Our educators are dedicated to ongoing learning and growth as we strive for a more inclusive environment. By modelling acceptance and respect, we aim to inspire the young people in our care to become culturally aware and inclusive citizens. We are committed to standing against racism within our centre, and we actively promote diversity through intentional programming and spontaneous learning experiences that honour and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and histories.
