Our vision for reconciliation is to lead meaningful and lasting change through our everyday actions and practices, fostering reconciliation with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families, educators, and communities. We are committed to strengthening our connections with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members and creating opportunities for children, families, and educators to deepen their understanding of the rich diversity of First Nations peoples and cultures. We will demonstrate this by developing a deeper awareness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ways of knowing, being, and learning; embedding this knowledge respectfully across all areas of our service; improving accessibility for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families; and building genuine, respectful relationships that nurture a shared sense of belonging. Through these efforts, our service continues to move forward in the spirit of reconciliation, honouring and working towards true reparation for the Lands First Peoples.
