Our vision for reconciliation is based on building positive relationships with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members; educating our staff and children about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' histories and cultures, and acknowledging the mistakes of the past to focus on the strengths of tomorrow. For the organisation, reconciliation means taking positive and ongoing action to grow and nurture our connections with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. We hope to open avenues for discussion, learning, development and growth across all facets of the organisation for continued reconciliation within the centre, with the hope that this greater awareness will contribute to a more equitable and fair society.
