Iramoo Kindergarten

At Iramoo, our vision for reconciliation is to provide a united learning environment with our team members, children, families and wider community in actively engaging and learning about Australia's true colonial history and its ongoing impacts on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as well as the natural environment of Australia to this day.  We will embed respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Isander peoples and perspectives and their contributions through sharing our understanding of First Nations peoples cultures and stories into everyday practice.    We respectfully share our work and understanding of how reconciliation can be embedded into every aspect of our work with colleagues, visitors, children, families and community. Edcucators building knowledge that we will gain through ongoing professional development and through our work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders and community members.    We commit, as a whole team and a community, to strengthening our relationships with the local Aboriginal people who represent the First People of the Land that we live, work and play.
