At Saltwater Promenade Kindergarten, our vision for reconciliation is to acknowledge and embed respect for the world's longest living cultures, building and encouraging relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and the children, families and educators within our service. Â Â We acknowledge the Bunurong People as Traditional Owners of the Lands on which Saltwater Promenade Kindergarten operates. The Bunurong Peoples have and always will belong to the creeks, stars, hills and red clay of this Country. We pay respect to their Ancestors and Elders who always have, and always will, care for Country and community, today and for future generations. Â We are committed to our Reconciliation journey and continue to establish and deepen respectful relationships with local Elders, through authentic relationships, meaningful learning experiences, and a commitment to ongoing reconciliation. We strive to nurture children who value equity, connection, and the First Nations histories that shape our land. We respectfully embed First Nations perspectives by providing opportunities for educators to deepen their knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples histories, cultures and contributions. Â At Saltwater Promenade Kindergarten, we believe that connection is the energy created between people when they feel seen, heard, and valued. Our ongoing reconciliation journey is guided by acceptance, knowledge, awareness, and truth-telling, and above all by courageous action in support of First Nations peoples and cultures. We strive for a better tomorrow, where all people can live in harmony on this great Country. Â Â Â Â Â Â
