Our vision for reconciliation at Goodstart Girrawheen is to foster an environment which recognises, values, and respects the cultures, perspectives, histories, and rights of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We are committed to strong relationships with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and fostering equal and equitable opportunities for both First Nations peoples and non-Indigenous Australians through our strong relationships with children, families, educators, and the local community. We continue to deepen our understanding and knowledges of First Nations histories and diversity and are committed to providing a culturally safe environment that is inclusive and promotes equality and equity for all. We will continue to respectfully embed our learnings about First Nations cultures and perspectives into our curriculums and practices, sharing with families and children within our service and the broader community.
