VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At Keiki Mindarie Keys, our vision for reconciliation is to foster a culturally safe and inclusive community where all educators, children and families deeply understand and respect the significance of paying respect to the Noognar people, the Traditional Custodians of Whadjuk County on which we learn, work, grow and play.

We are committed to continuing our journey towards reconciliation together with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, children, educators and families and the wider community. Through our curriculum and everyday practices, we respectfully embed the perspectives and understanding of the First Peoples of Australia.

We value and honour the histories, cultures, and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as an integral part of Australias national identity,

Our aim is to nurture a society where all Australians respect and recognise the cultural heritage and significance of First Nations peoples as part of our shared reconciliation journey.

We are dedicated to building meaningful relationships founded on mutual respect and understanding with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the wider community. We continue to foster a culturally safe and responsive environment where all educators, children and families can learn, play, grow and walk together on our reconciliation journey.
