We at Goodstart Onkapringa Rise acknowledge and show our respect to the Kaurna People who are the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the Land on which our service and community live, learn, work, and play. We acknowledge and respect the rich and ongoing history, culture and contributions of Kaurna people past, present and emerging, and all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.

We commit to respectfully embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures and perspectives within our teachings and programs. We work to ensure Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures are visible within the learning that is taking place, and that we are a safe space for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and their families.

We will build mutual, respectful and ongoing relationships with members of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and seek their input to ensure the embedded perspectives are localised and appropriate.
