Golden Grove World of Learning is committed to building strong foundations and relationships between local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the wider Australian community. We aim to create a sense of belonging for all members of the community in a respectful and inclusive manner. We acknowledge that we, as educators, play an important role in ensuring our future generations have the knowledge and resources that will lead to Australia becoming a reconciled nation. We aim to work alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to build our knowledge of how we as a learning community can work towards understanding what it means to   reconcile the nation’s history and identity. Golden Grove World of Learning is located on Kaurna Land and aims to facilitate opportunities to learn of Kaurna peoples’ language, cultures and identity from Traditional Custodians and educate children on the importance of Kaurna people, and more broadly, all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and their perspectives, experiences and histories.
