Our vision for reconciliation here at Goodstart Hope Valley continues to be about a localised and united journey towards a future where everyone acknowledges and values the cultural histories, heritages, traditions and continuing contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Â Â
We continue to embed ongoing reconciliation into everyday practice, building an attitude that reconciliation is everybody's business and for everyone's benefit, sharing this vision throughout the whole centre and the wider local community. Â Â
Our vision for reconciliation is founded on a commitment to building long-term, respectful relationships with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, through deep and ongoing conversations, consultations and respectful collaboration. Â
We are committed to providing opportunities for children, educators and the wider community to develop their cultural awareness, promoting equality and equity, historical acceptance of our shared histories, and the removal of negative race relations.
