At St Joseph's Preschool Hectorville, we share a vision that our whole community will actively participate in our journey towards meaningful reconciliation, a process with an outcome that benefits all Australians. As a staff team we are guided by the statement within the Australian Early Years Learning Framework that we have a responsibility to fulfil every Australian child's right to know about Australias First Nations histories, knowledge systems, cultures and languages. We are committed to developing a deep understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples perspectives, cultures, histories, and stories, so we can share our learnings authentically and meaningfully with our learning community. We warmly invite parents, grandparents, and colleagues across our wider school community to join us on this journey, fostering shared learning and supporting reconciliation together.
