Our vision is to deepen our awareness, knowledge and understanding of local Aboriginal cultures and histories and at the same time for all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures. Through Yungbaurra Community Kindergarten, learning about Australia's First Nation's Peoples, we hope that children and their families will grow their understanding and create a future Australia that takes pride in its rich and diverse cultural heritage, and acknowledges the true history of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. We aim to connect with the elders in our area and learn from them.
