At Goodstart Kirwan Golf Links Drive, our vision is to continue to increase awareness, understanding, and strive to take actions in our reconciliation journey. We are dedicated to fostering and maintaining an environment where reconciliation is lived, felt, and experienced every day between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the wider community. Â We are committed to creating a culturally safe and inclusive service that promotes equality and equity for all. We provide culturally responsive opportunities that nurture belonging, wellbeing, and learning for every child, family, and educator in our community. Â Our Early Learning Service seeks to honour and uphold the histories, cultures, and contributions of First Nations peoples by embedding these perspectives meaningfully into our learning programs, environments, and daily practices. Through respectful connections with local First Nations Elders and community members, we strive to ensure children grow up with a strong understanding of reconciliation and First Nations peoples connections to Country, culture. Â Through reflective practice and ongoing learning, we empower staff, families, and children to engage in the processes of learning, unlearning, and relearning. This allows us to strengthen our shared responsibility in walking together for reconciliation, ensuring that the voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are respected, heard, and celebrated now and into the future.
