To Goodstart Idalia Lakeland Boulevard reconciliation means a place where we all work together to strengthen relationships between Aboriginal and Torress Strait Islander people and non - Indigenous people for the benefit of everyone. For us, reconciliation is our active commitment to our ongoing journey of listening to and learning about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, histories, and perspectives.
To our centre a reconciled Australia looks and feels like a country where everybody has a strong sense of belonging and it feels like a culturally inclusive place for everyone. We will continue to build our relationships with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, and we will learn and listen to their storytelling, art, language, and practices.
