Our vision for reconciliation is to create a learning environment where every child, family, and educator develops their understanding of the rich cultural heritage of Australia’s First Nations peoples. We will achieve this by learning about the cultures, stories, perspectives and languages of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We will build respectful relationships between First Peoples and non-Indigenous peoples , we will celebrate and respect the diversity of First Nations peoples and cultures. Our vision is for every child and family to walk through our doors and feel the spirit of reconciliation alive in our actions, our environment, and our hearts. Here at Milestones The Lakes we will walk together towards a future where all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures are valued and understood.
