Community Kids Glenellas vision for reconciliation is to continue to deepen the awareness of reconciliation to staff, the younger generations in our care and their families. We will teach ourselves, children and families about the true histories, cultures and perspectives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in our region as we continue the shared journey of reconciliation between the wider Australian community and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We strive to inspire and teach those in our community of practice to contribute to breaking down stereotypes and discrimination.  At our service we are on a journey to respectfully embed reconciliation into our curriculums in consultation and collaboration with the local First Nations community. We will encourage and support educators in ensuring that we are offering engaging culturally responsive experiences. And, as dedicated Educators, we are educating ourselves to increase our knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples cultures and ways of knowing and being.      Â
