Our vision for reconciliation is grounded in collaboration, cultural understanding and truth telling. We work in partnership with families, community members and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to deepen our collective knowledge of Australia's histories. At C and K Caloundra our curriculum continues to grow with the inclusion of First Nations perspectives and our relationship with local Gubbi Gubbi Elders remains a valued part of our learning. We are committed to listening, learning and walking together- honouring different Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ ways of knowing and being. This sustained engagement with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders reflects our commitment to building long term, reciprocal relationships. As our community grows and changes, we'll keep mentoring, sharing and supporting one another with respect and care on our reconciliation journey.
