At Nottingham World of Learning, we pride ourselves on educating young children, families and the team on reconciliation and believe that this is an imperative part of our role as teachers and educators.
We will continue to deepen our own understanding of reconciliation through research and professional development and will continue to have meaningful conversations to engage with reconciliation and ensure that this is age appropriate to the children in our care. We believe this will bring better understanding and unity within our community, families, team and children. We commit to building relationships, built on respect, and trust between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People and non-Indigenous peoples.
We will continue to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives in all of our planning and throughout our service environments to make for better learning opportunities and lead us down the road of true reconciliation.
