Bardon Community Kindergarten & Preschool

Bardon Community Kindergarten is located in Meanjin, the Traditional Place name for Brisbane. We acknowledge the land and waterways where we play, learn, and grow is Turrbal and Yuggera Country.  

We are committed to reconciliation by being inclusive and respectful of, and connected to the diverse and rich histories, cultures and contributions of Australia's First Peoples.  We encourage our community to grow by respectfully embedding opportunities to learn and appreciate the cultures, knowledges, histories and perspectives of First Nations peoples and all people.   

We acknowledge Turrbal and Yuggera people and their continuing connection to Mt Coot-tha and Bowman Park. For thousands of years these have been and continue to be a place for communities to gather, live, and grow.   

Our community is the heart and soul of our Kindy, and we continually strive to strengthen meaningful relationships with the local Turrbal and Yuggera peoples and all First Nations Peoples.
