We respect and acknowledge the rich histories, cultures, languages and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Through genuine relationships, shared knowledge and meaningful practices, we strive to learn from First Nations cultures and honour their enduring connection to Country.  Â
As Educators, we recognise the important role we play in respectfully promoting understanding and appreciation for First Nations peoples. We are committed to strengthening our skills, knowledge, and attitudes through ongoing professional learning and continuous development of cross-cultural awareness.  Â
We ensure that reconciliation principles and the Early Years Learning Framework are embedded into our daily practice in meaningful and intentional ways. Through play-based learning, resources, games, music and storytelling, children build knowledge, understanding and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures, languages and heritage.  Â
Our vision is to build trusting, respectful, and reciprocal relationships with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. We value the voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and are committed to listening, learning and ensuring these voices are included in matters of local and national importance.  Â
By exploring concepts of fairness, justice, equality and equity, we aim to nurture socially conscious young citizens who value diversity and contribute to a more inclusive and just society. Through reconciliation, we build partnerships based on trust, respect and recognition of the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, ensuring reconciliation is lived, practiced and celebrated every day.     Â
