Gippsland Grammar Early Learning Centre recognises and celebrates the achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, acknowledging their role in shaping our shared national story and identity. We recognise that on the path to reconciliation, we must recognise the wrongs of the past and work towards equality and equity by creating an environment that builds positive relationships and understanding between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous people. 

We recognise that education is the key to moving forward with reconciliation 

 and commit to celebrating the achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We recognise and respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ histories, cultures and contributions, educating children, staff members, families and broader school community about the importance of reconciliation. We will continue to develop genuine, respectful and meaningful two-way relationships between non-Indigenous and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
