Grace Berglund Kindergarten acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Peoples of this Land.  We see reconciliation as a means of closing the gap in equal and equitable educational outcomes, engaging with the true histories of Australia and the ongoing impacts of colonisation on First Nations peoples as we move forward in creating a reconciled society of all Australians. Grace Berglund Kindergarten is committed to working with all stakeholders  children, families, staff and the wider community, including First Peoples, building respectful relationships on our journey of reconciliation. As we strengthen our knowledge of and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, our understanding will enable us to respectfully embed the richness and diversity of First Peoples and cultures in our service thus ensuring we model inclusivity, equity and equality to current and future generations while building a pathway to reconciliation.
