At Havilah Road Preschool, we are committed to walking together on the journey of reconciliation with First Nations children and families, we believe reconciliation begins with children's learning through their play relationships and growth. We are committed to creating an environment where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people children and their families feel safe, seen and celebrated. Building positive relationships and learning with the local First Nations community is at the heart of everything that we are striving to do. Â
All staff are committed to continuing to develop their understanding of the histories, cultures and perspectives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and being involved in our RAP actions and committed to achieving the goals we have set out. Staff understand the concept of reconciliation and are committed to continuing to build relationships. We are committed to continuing our own learning and educating the children through our play-based, inquiry project learning curriculum.Â
