At Ararat Early Learning Centre our vision is to develop connections with the local Djab Wurrung People of the Maar Nation as well as other Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities and groups. We will strengthen these connections to create respectful, evolving and harmonious relationships, whilst developing a deeper understanding of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples' cultures and perspectives.
To promote reconciliation, authentically embedded practices and unlearn biases, staff are encouraged to take part in professional development.
