Geelong Children's Centre’s vision for reconciliation is based on our commitment to building community partnerships between First Nations peoples and non-Indigenous people based on mutual trust and respect. We acknowledge the Traditional Land Owners, the Wadawurrang People of Djillong, and we recognise and respect their unique cultural rights and that of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
We respect the values and insights that we gain as we establish strong links between Geelong Children's Centre and the children, families, educators and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities with whom we work. We commit to reconciliation between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and all other people of Australia, and support and promote reconciliation.
