Dandenong North East Kindergartens vision for reconciliation is that educators, children and families understand and respect the histories, rich cultures, and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We continue to build respectful and meaningful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Islander families and community members. This will deepen the understanding of the shared histories and rich cultures of First Nations peoples for educators. This will provide opportunities for all children and families to appreciate and learn about First Nations justice, resilience and ongoing contributions to a shared Australian identity.  We  continue to work authentically to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into the curriculum respectfully. We continue to promote respect for diversity and support a sense of belonging for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children as well as all children by providing inclusive, responsive, secure, equal, and equitable learning environments at the service. We continue to build our capacity to create a future where there is respectful relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the wider Australian community by demonstrating reconciliation through our actions, our communications and practice. We acknowledge that the kindergarten RAP is a working document, and it will support us to build our knowledge individually and as a service in our journey towards reconciliation      Â
