We at Selby Childcare acknowledge the historical impact of colonisation and its continuing impacts on Aboriginal and Torre Strait Islander people.  

Reconciliation is Australia becoming united and respecting the land, acknowledging the histories of the First Peoples of Australia, and provides justice, equity and equality for all.  

It is everyone's responsibility to come together to create equal and respected relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and non-Indigenous people. 

We promise to work towards a reconciled future together and will make this happen by acknowledging the heart of Australia and ensure its cultures and histories are respected and taught.
