Our vision for reconciliation is an Australia that embraces unity between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and other Australians, and a national culture that represents equality and equity, historical acceptance of our shared histories, and the removal of negative race relations. Â We recognise and affirm that reconciliation between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and other Australians is the responsibility of all Australians. Â Our centre represents a culturally inclusive and diverse learning environment that intentionally and respectfully embeds Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples perspectives into our programs. We acknowledge and respect the unique place that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures hold in Australia. Â We strive to maintain and build meaningful relationships with the local Aboriginal community, acknowledging the role of Elders for First Nations peoples. We are committed to respectfully embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories, languages, and perspectives into our practices and programs and endeavour to provide learning environments that are culturally safe for First Peoples and all people.
