As Goodstart Early Learning at Minifie Park, the Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) acknowledges our responsibility and outlines our commitment to reconciliation by working towards a culturally competent working environment - an environment that acknowledges and celebrates the unique place that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures hold in Australia. This RAP allows us to celebrate and build on current partnerships and establish new ones. It is a reflection of our belief that reconciliation, along with cultural awareness, safety and competency need to be embedded across the work we do at the service as well as in our work with wider education and care stakeholders. The RAP has been developed with reference and commitment to the five dimensions of reconciliation outlined in the 2016 The State of Reconciliation in Australia report: Â Race Relations Equality and Equity Institutional Integrity Unity Historical Acceptance
