Our vision for reconciliation is based on mutual respect, equality, belonging and becoming, acceptance, inclusivity, acknowledgement, reflection, exploration and celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures. We will engage in reconciliation through: •Acknowledging the Traditional Owners through centre displays, email signatures, at the commencement of meetings and through our teaching of children •Exploring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ traditions, histories and cultures •Strengthening and building relationships between Non-Indigenous communities and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples •Providing an inclusive, respectful, safe environment for all children, families and visitors to our service. •Continuous reflection and improvement on all of our practices We aim to continually learn, understand and expand our knowledge in order to provide and implement practices that respectfully and thoughtfully work towards reconciliation.
