At Goodstart Clifton Hill, our vision for reconciliation is to create a learning community where all children, families, and educators respect, value, and learn from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures, and perspectives.    We acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we learn, play, and grow. We are committed to building strong, respectful relationships with the local community and embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives meaningfully in our everyday program.    Our vision is to deepen childrens understanding of Country, culture, and community through meaningful learning experiences. We will honour Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices by sharing stories, symbols, and knowledge respectfully. Celebrating events such as NAIDOC Week and National Reconciliation Week gives us opportunities to strengthen awareness and belonging.   We will support educators to continue developing cultural competence through reflection and engagement. We aim to ensure our environments visibly reflect reconciliation and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We believe reconciliation begins with respect, grows through relationships, and continues through learning, creating a future where all children, educators and families feel a strong sense of belonging, connection, and shared responsibility for reconciliation.     Â
