Goodstart Roxburgh Park, reconciliation means that we facilitate the building of relationships, respect and trust between the wider Australian community and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander p At eoples. Our vision for reconciliation is for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to be recognised as the First Peoples of Australia. We envision a place where all Australians respect Elders past, present and future for the wisdom and knowledges they hold and generously share, supporting emerging leaders in the local community.   

Our vision for reconciliation is for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures, histories and perspectives to be respectfully integrated into our daily practices in rich and meaningful ways. We commit to partnering with local Wurundjeri people. We will actively reflect on our cultural awareness and responsiveness, deepening our knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ perspectives and cultures.  

We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ ongoing spiritual and cultural connections to land, Country, sea and water, fostering opportunities to grow our understanding and participation in caring for Country.
