At Goodstart Pascoe Vale West, our vision for reconciliation is grounded in an ongoing journey of learning, reflection, and growth. We are committed to building a culture of respect and inclusion, where the voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are valued and embedded within our curriculum and pedagogy. We recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Peoples of Australia and the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which our early learning services are offered. As we continue to deepen our understanding of First Nations histories and cultures, we are actively working to strengthen our relationships with local communities and create meaningful opportunities for collaboration. Our journey is far from complete. We are in the midst of reflective conversations with our team, children, and families - exploring how we can more authentically represent and celebrate First Nations perspectives in our learning environments. Respect for all cultures is being intentionally woven into our practices, helping to shape a strong sense of identity and belonging for every child. At Pascoe Vale West, we are embracing the process of change. Through collective reflection and action, we are moving forward together - acknowledging the past, engaging with the present, and contributing to a more inclusive future for all.
