VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At Goodstart Quakers Hill, our vision is for all children to grow up in a community where the Dharug people, their cultures, languages, and histories are deeply respected, and respectfully embedded in everyday learning. We aim to nurture a sense of belonging, curiosity, and pride by creating an environment in which children, families, and educators walk together with the Dharug community in the spirit of reconciliation. By building meaningful, genuine relationships with Dharug Elders,  knowledge holders, and communitive members, we strive to ensure every child learns on country, honouring the wisdom and traditions of the Dharug people, the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which we learn and play. We are committed to helping children, educators and families develop  deep, lifelong   understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples cultures, perspectives and heritages.
