Avondale Early Childhood Education Centre acknowledges the importance of reconciliation and is committed to continuing to take stronger action as we work together towards a reconciled Australia.
We endeavour to build and maintain strong connections and meaningful relationships with local Aboriginal peoples, the Dharawal people. We strive to walk the path to a reconciled Australia together, acknowledging that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples voices are important in determining what this looks like, with the active support of all people.
Avondale Early Childhood Education Centre will continue to respectfully integrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ histories, cultures and contributions into our programs, providing equal and equitable opportunities for all children, families and educators. Educators are supported to deepen their engagement in culturally responsive pedagogies and practices that provide culturally safe, inclusive environments for all children and their families.
