At ECTARC Keiraview, our vision as educators of the future generation is to create a learning environment that fosters Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives, culture and rights including the understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders peoples', histories, perspectives, cultures, and rights. Â
We aim to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples perspectives into our everyday curriculum and will create an environment that is welcoming and safe for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We aspire to deepen our understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples connections to Country and community, strengthening our relationships with the local Aboriginal community, and deepening our knowledge of, and connection to Geera or Djeera (Mount Keira) has special significance to the Dharawal people as a women's place and creation stories.Â
