At 3 Bears Cottage, our vision for reconciliation is to nurture a future where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples histories, cultures, and contributions are deeply respected, celebrated, and embedded in everything we do. We aspire to create an early childhood environment where every child, family, and educator experiences a sense of belonging, connection, and pride in learning on Country. We acknowledge the ongoing impacts of colonisation and commit to challenging racism, bias, and inequity in all its forms. We honour the resilience, knowledge, and leadership of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and recognise their unbroken connection to land, sky, waters, and community. Our vision is to walk alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders, families, and communities in genuine partnership. By listening, learning, and acting together, we strive to embed reconciliation into our daily practices, policies, and curriculum. In doing so, we aim to empower children to grow as confident, respectful, and inclusive learners who will contribute to a more just and reconciled Australia.
