Our vision for reconciliation at TG’s Child Care - Armidale is an inclusive and safe environment that enhances love, trust, respect, and compassion for all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
We promote acceptance of Australia’s true histories, to build relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and provide equal and equitable opportunities for all. We recognise that children are central to everything we do and are dedicated to providing a secure and supportive environment where every child has the opportunity to learn about and deepen respect for First Nations peoples, perspectives and cultures.
We acknowledge that it is essential for First Nations children, families and educators to feel safe, secure and respected for their cultural identity. We are committed to ensuring cultural safety for First Nations peoples through learning spaces and experiences that respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ perspectives.
We acknowledge our learning is ongoing, we continue to promote understanding, connection and respect for the First Nations peoples of the Land that we help care for, as we learn and play. We advocate for everyone to reach their fullest potential while being valued, nurtured, and respected within the community.
