Our vision for reconciliation at St Peters Preschool is for reconciliation to be embedded in our philosophy and evident in our practices. We aim to build meaningful connections with Aboriginal and Torress Strait Islander communities and educate our children, educators and wider preschool community about our nations shared histories and the cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. We envision a culturally safe environment which nurtures a sense of belonging for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and their families, where they have the same opportunities as all other children and are respected and valued.
