Our vision for reconciliation at Cooks Hill Preschool is to promote values of awareness, acknowledgement and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Our aim is to contribute towards a socially just, inclusive, equal and equitable Australia. As we embark on our reconciliation journey, our Educators have made a commitment to further their own knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and achievements. Through collaboration with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and local community members, we will explore how we can respectfully embed reconciliation within our preschool program and environment.Â
