The word reconciliation means: "The restoration of friendly relationships" Wyralla Road Kindy strives to provide a service and space that brings people together. We believe that a sense of community is key to a child's wellbeing. We believe in the true inclusion of all within our community.
We believe in forming real, authentic, meaningful relationships with our community (children, families, groups, businesses). To make, maintain, and expand relationships with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, we need to focus on reconciliation/restoration. We feel it is our responsibility and opportunity to use our platform to educate the people within our services community (children, families, staff, and the wider community) about the First Peoples of Australia's histories, customs, traditions, and overall well-being. We aim to create a culture of understanding, acceptance, and celebration of all people.
