Our vision for reconciliation at First Grammar Holsworthy is to embrace unity between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and other Australians. We recognise that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have a deep and rich knowledge about this beautiful country that we call home, and we should spread this beauty as much as we can to both our present and future generations.
We acknowledge the significance of reconciliation in righting historical wrongs and build a future of togetherness between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous Australians. The foundation of our vision is the appreciation and respect for First Nations peoples' histories, traditions, and contributions. We are dedicated to advancing equity, equality, and justice, making sure that every child has an equal chance at success. In addition to promoting an awareness of and respect for the customs, cultures, and varied identities of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, we are committed to building respectful, strong, and cooperative relationships with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. We will continue to be dedicated to our common path of reconciliation through ongoing education and introspection.
