At Lighthouse Childcare, our vision for reconciliation is to value the diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the wider Australian community as one of our pillars of philosophy for equality and equity.Â
We aim to teach all children about value and respect for each other, and value and respect for the Country we are learning on. Our aim is to respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders perspectives in all areas of Lighthouse and to extend this to all stakeholders.
We believe that reconciliation is an ongoing process that creates strong and transparent knowledge and understanding about one of the oldest living cultures in the world.
