Our vision for reconciliation is to work with children, families and communities as we seek to listen, learn and deepen our understanding of and respect for First Nations peoples and cultures, tell the truth of Australia's histories, and to care for the Land on which we live, work, play and learn.  To foster social change we will make our centre a more culturally welcoming place for all children and families and all Goodstarters. We will unite people in our centre community by ensuring that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and perspectives are a part of our everyday life. And we are inspired to be bolder and a guiding influence each and every day.    To foster unity we  commit to move beyond symbolic recognition to perspective-shifting action, by being more intentional with our commitment to walk alongside First Nations people in the reconciliation journey and to use our voice for courageous and positive change. We know the importance of our role and depth of this commitment as our reach is not just between these walls but beyond as we continue to be informed and advocate for equal and equitable participation in educational opportunities. We strive to maximise the potential of each child, empower our educators, teachers and early learning professionals who truly make the difference, and uphold the unity that reconciliation means for everyone.   We are dedicated learning the true histories of Australia through deep listening, engaging with  First Nations members of the Goodstart community, Elders, and Knowledge Holders to shape our reconciliation journey as we ensure we create and maintain a culturally safe environment for First Nations children and all children.       Â
